What makes us different is that this business is run for electric flight enthusiasts by electric flight enthusiasts. We ALL fly electric models ourselves with components we sell. We are a FULLTIME business trading from a large industrial unit in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, UK. You are more than welcome to visit us and browse in our large retail shop (no appointment needed). We specialise in mail order, posting orders worldwide. Our kits are shipped by a dedicated courier service or Parcel Force service (depending on location).

We will only supply products to our customers that we use ourselves and are personally happy to recommend. From the very low product return rate and from the excellent feedback we receive from our customers we know we offer excellent products at prices other people simply cannot offer. We use all our products in our own models from the Kits themselves, motors and ESCs, batteries, servos right down to the servo extension leads! So we know what works. We wouldn't stock a product we would not use ourselves! We have proven time and time again you don't need to spend a fortune to obtain the performance once only dreamed of in electric flight.

POSTAGE: We do not have a minimum postage amount. Our system adds postage for each single item purchased. If you have several items in your shopping cart you will note a larger P+P charge.  Any excess P+P charged will be refunded back to you automatically once goods are shipped.
 
SHIPPING: To ensure your parcel is protected against loss or damage we send all items 1st Class with the added security of Recorded or Special Delivery service for high value items. All small items are shipped in bubble-wrap bags. Kit postage is via our courier service, which is insured up to £500 per item. We try to post items next day delivery whenever possible but it is not always possible to do so. Please allow sufficient time for delivery. If you have any special delivery requirements, please let us know.

BRC HOBBIES Retail Shop -  We have a large retail outlet full of model aircraft items.  As well as our extensive range of electric flight items, we also stock model engine fuels and a small range of I.C. propellers and accessories.

PayPal Orders Shipping Address - IMPORTANT: We can only ship to the address given on your PayPal account. Please ensure your PayPal details are correct before you place the order. We cannot be held responsible for non-delivered items due to incorrect address details i.e. moved house, changed name etc.

VAT: Taxable items have 17.5% VAT added.

Liability - BRC HOBBIES accepts no liability for any losses or claims arising from links to other sites or forums, or infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.  BRC HOBBIES does not accept liability for any indirect loss or consequential loss of any data, income, profit, or damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising from the use of the website or any item purchased from it. BRC HOBBIES will only be liable for the direct loss up to a maximum total price of the item purchased in respect of any claim.
 
Out-of-Stock Items -  Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock i.e. indicated by 'Item temporarily out of stock'.  We regret we cannot always provide exact delivery dates on out of stock items. The BRC HOBBIES website will be updated to show 'Item available for purchase' as soon as the item arrives.

BRC HOBBIES Gift Vouchers
1. Vouchers may only be used in exchange for items purchased from BRC HOBBIES by mail order, in person in our shop and at shows and exhibitions.
2. Vouchers may be exchanged for items of a lower value. A credit note for difference will be issued.
3. Vouchers may be exchanged for items of a higher value, on payment of the difference.
4. BRC HOBBIES cannot accept any responsibility for claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses or liability of any kind whatsoever suffered in connection with, or arising from any transaction or dealing between BRC HOBBIES and a Voucher holder.
5. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Vouchers have an expiry date as stated on the voucher. After this date, the voucher will no longer be valid.
7. Vouchers will be subject to verification at presentation. No responsibility will be accepted for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers.
8. Any defacement of a printed voucher will render it invalid.
9. No modifications may be made to a voucher after it has been issued.
10. Vouchers will be delivered to the postal addresses supplied by the buyer. The Voucher buyer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of this delivery information. BRC HOBBIES is not responsible for any use of the Voucher by any individual resulting from errors in this delivery information.
11. No refunds or cancellations of Vouchers are permitted.
12. Voucher buyers shall not impersonate or attempt to impersonate another user or any other person by using the name, address, credit card information, of any other user or person for any reason whatsoever.

Lithium Batteries -  Please read the lithium battery user guidelines supplied with each lithium battery BEFORE use. If you DO NOT agree with these terms please return battery for a full refund before use.

Returns-   If any item is required to be returned to us, the customer MUST ensure sufficient postage is paid. BRC HOBBIES does not accept liability for items lost in transit. We cannot collect parcels which have been left at the P.O. sorting office due to the customer not paying enough postage. Such parcels may be returned to sender unopened. Any items returned to us with insufficient postage fees will not be looked into until we are reimbursed with the correct postage.

Returns - Faulty Items -   In the unlikely event of you receiving a faulty item, you must contact us by telephone or in writing (not e-mail please) in the first instance to obtain a returns authorisation.  Our experience has shown that we can resolve most issues via a simple phone call. If items are to be sent back to us, please ensure that they are returned in the original packaging and are in original condition. We will not accept any items for warranty claims that have been misused,damaged, dismantled or modified in any way. Electronic Speed Controllers which have had wires cut or shortened or the receiver plug cut or removed will not be warranted.  Please note that you are responsible for ensuring that items are returned to us (address above) safely.  We recommend sending returns by 1st class recorded post (this includes up to 38GBP insurance) or by Special Delivery if items are valued between 38GBP and 500GBP.VERY IMPORTANT - If any item is returned to us as 'faulty' and subsequently found NOT to be defective or has been damaged as a direct result of incorrect propeller sizes, misuse or poor maintenance, a workshop surcharge of 10GBP will be incurred,together with the cost of returned postage.  Items found not to be faulty will NOT be returned to the customer until the surcharge payment has been received.
