This sporty model bears more than a passing resemblance to the Goodyear pylon racers from the 50s, offering sleek lines and plenty of exhilarating performance for sport aerobatics. Designed by Jerry Small to give intermediate to experienced modelers a stylish sports model that can also be flown as a 'pylon racer' it will accept a variety of power installations. (See pictures)
If you want to build it as a “Sportster” model the standard set-up of the E-flite Power 15 brushless motor, or 450W equiv) 40A ESC and 3S LiPo pack provides more than enough power for exciting aerobatic performance if however, you are a true 'speed freak' and really want to burn up the sky install the powerful combination of a E-flite Power 25 brushless motor, 60A brushless ESC and high-C rated 4S LiPo pack and you have a true speed machine ideal for pylon racing capable of turning in lap speeds in excess of 100 mph!

The Pogo features traditional balsa/plywood construction throughout with a racy high visibility Ultracote covering and a pre-painted sleek fibreglass cowl with an innovative design that makes installation (or removal) quick and easy. At the flying field swapping batteries and accessing the electronics is easy thanks to the generously proportioned easy-access magnetic cockpit/hatch, complete with pre-painted race helmeted pilot figure. With only three mini servos controlling the aileron, elevator and rudder controls the overall weight of the model is kept to a minimum and the whole installation and set-up of the Pogo is a simple task made even easier thanks to E-flite’s assembly guide and hardware pack.
