Lander EDF 90mm Metal Alloy Fan Unit with 1700Kv Brushless Motor for 6S LiPo.
Most 90mm EDF units are constructed from plastics. However as EDF units produce high temperatures this can have adverse effects on power outputs not to mention motor and ESC problems due to overheating. It can cause loss of power or damage to these components. Some manufacturers have added 'Alloy rings' into the EDF unit to help deal with these issues but now, Lander Technology has designed their new 90mm unit specifically taking this issue to mind.
The whole shroud (including the tail pipe) is constructed from CNC cut Aluminum. This means the whole EDF unit acts as one large heatsink keeping the motor much cooler and increasing performance to its maximum. The 90mm EDF features a BL3670-1700Kv Brushless Inrunner Motor (factory installed) having been fitted using thermal grease between the motor and shroud. (Thermal Grease is the material normally used in computer CPU Heatsink manufacturer). This motor is designed for 6S LiPo and will produce a staggering 1800W!!

We were very impressed with this unit. The power is amazing! This fan can put out a staggering 3.2kg of thrust using the new KoKam H5 30C 3600mah - 5000mah 6S1P (22.2v) packs at 83A.
Of course the other thing to mention is the incredible noise this EDF unit makes - sounds more like a turbine than an EDF!
APPLICATION: Will give a BIG power increase for many '90mm class' EDF Jets. Remember to ensure the ESC and Battery you use can handle all that POWER!!
